This picture started first only as an exercise on brown primer in a training stretcher frame. Over the painting process, however, was then changed from brown to black background, which emphasized the flower much more.
In general, this is still only a practice image and not yet completely finished (see colors of the outer petals). However, you never know, maybe I will finish the picture in the future.
The picture is painted on portrait-linen and half-oil primer with artist's oil paints. The flower itself has a size of about 15x20cm.
