Drawing and painting reflections on complex bodies is always hard. Not only the body and its curvatures, but also the environment and the relative position of object and viewer have to be considered.
This small series of posts offer you reference sheets for selected “primitive” bodies in a simplified environment. Sky=Blue, Ground=Brown (makes sense). The horizon is marked by a bold red line and the cardinal points are marked by yellow lines.
The created pattern on the reflective body should give a basic understanding of the reflections as a help to construct reflections on more complex bodies.
