Drawing and painting reflections<\/a> on complex bodies is always hard. Not only the body and its curvatures, but also the environment and the relative position of object and viewer have to be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This small series of posts offer you reference sheets for selected “primitive” bodies in a simplified environment. Sky=Blue, Ground=Brown (makes sense). The horizon is marked by a bold red line and the cardinal points are marked by yellow lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The created pattern on the reflective body should give a basic understanding of the reflections as a help to construct reflections on more complex bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
